The DuPont Co recently developed a high-performance material, which has greatly reduced the content of ammonium perfluorooctanoate (PFOA).

DuPont Co announced that they have developed new fluorotoluene (fluorotelomer) production technology and have been commercialized.

This technology can reduce 97% of the content of ammonium perfluorooctanoate.

Ammonium perfluorooctanoate is a companion product in the production process of fluorinated toluene.

Through this technological innovation, DuPont reached the mandatory requirement of 2010 content of ammonium perfluorooctanoate issued by EPA in 3 years ahead of schedule.

The new material will be available in the first quarter of this year and will be widely used in papermaking, leather and surface treatment.

Dyeing Process Of Superfine Fiber Synthetic Leather

There are many kinds of dyes used for PA6 and polyurethane dyeing respectively, including acid dyes, neutral dyes, disperse dyes, reactive dyes and so on. When the PA6 and polyurethane are individually dyed, the single dye may have a good effect, but the situation is much more complicated for island type microfiber synthetic leather containing two components. Especially when dyed dark, even two or even three dyes need to be considered for blending dyeing. ..
