Textile Exports In Pakistan Increased By 22.9% In The First Half Of This Year.

In the first 7 months of the current fiscal year, textile exports in Pakistan increased sharply by 22.90% over the same period last year.

In July 2010, textile exports reached US $985 million 858 thousand, compared with the same period last year.

Export volume

For $802 million 139 thousand, according to statistics released by the Federal Statistical Office.

Textile products with negative growth in July 2010 include: the export of raw cotton has dropped by 78.33%, the export of cotton yarn has dropped by 1.70%, and the export of combed or combed cotton has dropped by 87.76%.
