In the city's fabric market, some shopkeepers who have confirmed orders in the next few months also revealed that cotton fabrics had to rise in price over a period of time.

The temperature dropped suddenly, and many plans to buy new clothes in autumn and winter.

Cotton is the most obvious single garment.

In some shopping malls on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the prices of autumn and winter clothing have risen, and the increase of cotton clothing is more obvious.

This year, most of the fashion brand's Cotton Single clothing is 100 yuan higher than the same period last year, or significantly higher than other winter clothing.

In a landmark, a famous fashion brand's cotton shirt is priced at 799 yuan, and the brand's down coats are priced at 899 yuan.

A brand counter sales staff said that since September this year, many businesses have collectively raised the price of the product, which is generally around 2 percent.

Because cotton is expensive, the proportion of the use of acrylic and blended fabrics is more than ever before. After looking at the ingredients of many autumn and winter clothes, it is found that the autumn winter coat of cotton is relatively rare.

Wholesale price of cotton fabric increased by 20%

In many wholesale markets of clothing and fabrics, the prices of cotton fabrics are also rising.

A cloth shop salesman in the market said that the price of cotton fabric depends on the quality, the general quality of the purchase price is 15 yuan / meter, and the slightly higher quality is 30 yuan / meter.

In the past six months, the average cotton fabric has risen to 20 yuan / m, and it has risen to nearly 23 yuan in recent years, or nearly 20%.
