Is Europe Facing Collapse Or Chronic Death?

Europe Is Facing Collapse And Chronic Death.

The US national interest has been published recently.

Article

It is said that the most fundamental reason for this European crisis is the lack of political solidarity among all countries.

The article said that although Europe may be able to slow down this crisis, the prospect of European revival will be very slim as long as this persistent problem is not solved.

The European crisis is obviously due to sovereign debt crisis, common currency and other financial problems, but economic mistakes can not be irrelevant to politics, so the most fundamental reason for this crisis is the erosion of European welfare states' ideas.

The economic crisis is only one of a series of problems, and it is not even a decisive one.

Behind this crisis is the lack of common sense in Europe. European countries regard their interests as higher than those of Europe.

For decades, European elites have been living in self denial. On the one hand, they expect the society to be more democratic, and on the one hand, they are unwilling to be eroded by national sovereignty.

So although the European crisis is partly due to the lack of solidarity and leadership, the most fundamental problem is political will.

Generally speaking, there are three broad prospects for Europe, but it is hard to conclude.

Europe

Which road will it take in the future?

First, Europe may collapse, probably in the recent rapid collapse or gradual extinction.

After that, economists may renegotiate a new framework, and then follow the old path.

As long as countries do not have a unified political will, the prospects of the EU will not be bright.

The second possibility is that Europe may recover quickly or slowly from this crisis. There are also such cases in European history.

But what can promote the resurrection of Europe?

In consideration of

Europe

Europe needs immigration in terms of population weakness, but Europe's recent attempt at immigration is not successful, so it is difficult to change European immigration policy in the short term.

Europe's slump will probably continue, and Europe will be hard to regain its vitality.

The last possible probability is that most European countries may be able to make some reforms as they did in the past, and do some more deals to help rich countries to help poorer countries tide over their difficulties.

This choice may be effective in this crisis, but in the long run, it is meaningless.

And even if they really decide to take such a measure, the Nordic countries may not be able to do so.

From the analysis, the decline of Europe seems inevitable. How can Europe withdraw from the ranks of world powers and not be so painful?

There seems to be no way to predict this will be very difficult for Europe.

Europeans may be psychologically difficult to debug. For Europeans who are accustomed to strong and influential status, it is not easy to give up their past glory.

After that, Europe may have to reduce its ambitions and not advocate human rights, freedom and democracy in the world.

Although Europe's prospects are rather bleak, even if Europe's decline may be irreversible, there is no need to fail.

It is better to take some practical actions to change Europe than to worry about it.
