In 1978, with the support of the administrative department of Huimin District, the first cotton mill of Beizhen raised funds by itself, and dispatched technical personnel to build a larger and more advanced Binzhou second cotton textile mill.

In those days, the image of textile mills was likened to "rocking Qian Shu". The development of cotton textile industry completely changed the appearance of Binzhou.
